Broad outline of the Role

Skills required to manage network security role -

Checkpoint Firewall:

1. Configuration and Troubleshooting Checkpoint Firewall.
2. Performed various activity on firewall (OS upgradation on both gateway to latest release R81.10 and MGMT)
3. Configuring Load sharing (Cluster) / High Availability setup for DR of device.


RADWARE LLB:
5. Performing OS upgradation, updating Patches.
6. understanding and configuration of SmartNAT on Radware.
7. Understanding and configuration of health check on Radware.

Purpose - Broad objective of the role

Skills required to manage network security role -

Checkpoint Firewall:

1. Configuration and Troubleshooting Checkpoint Firewall.
2. Performed various activity on firewall (OS upgradation on both gateway to latest release R81.10 and MGMT)
3. Configuring Load sharing (Cluster) / High Availability setup for DR of device.
4. Write and implement access-based policies/Policy-Package/Nat rule/Route to govern an organization’s network environment and troubleshooting issues related to it.
5. Monitoring, backup, upgrade, patch installation, hardening of device, licensing of the mentioned security devices.
6. Configuration and administration of Checkpoint Threat emulation, Anti-BOT, Anti-Virus and other Threat prevention blades.
7. Configuring Remote access, SSL VPN and IPsec VPN Connection.
8. Configuring the DLP and creating the policies as per the company best standards.
9. Coordination with different OEM partners to resolve device/system related issues.
10. Assist VAPT team to perform vulnerability test using Nessus, post result taken the necessary action to fix the vulnerabilities on the devices without harming any business operations.
11. Maintaining device inventory, creation of SOP/knowledge documents of all the activity and changes with respect to change management


RADWARE LLB:

1. Configuration and deployment of new box in working environment.
2. Monitoring and troubleshooting of the ISP link load balancer.
3. Configuration of vADC, creation of outbound & inbound rule.
5. Configuring Radware devices on Apsolute Vision monitoring tool.
5. Performing OS upgradation, updating Patches.
6. understanding and configuration of SmartNAT on Radware.
7. Understanding and configuration of health check on Radware.

Minimum qualification & experience

  • Graduate with 4-7 years of experience

Other knowledge/skills

  • Good knowledge on implementation, installation, integration troubleshooting and overall functionalities
  • Experience in troubleshooting platform related issues, data backup, restoration, retention
  • Maintains awareness of latest technologies in the domain

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical administration or troubleshooting to ensure the efficient functionality of the solution.
  • Incident Validation, Incident Analysis, Solution recommendation
  • Assists with the development, revision, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and Working Instructions
  • Act as a point of escalation for Level-1 customer service analysts
  • Coordinate with IT teams on escalations, tracking, performance issues, and outages.
  • Prepare Monthly Executive Summary Reports for managed clients and continuously improve their content and presentation.
  • Provide recommendations in tuning and optimization of systems, processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Maintain an inventory of the procedures used by the operations team and regularly evaluate the procedures and add, remove, and update the procedures as appropriate.
  • Publish weekly reports and monthly reports on customer service operations activity.
