Objective

Drive products and revenue growth for Mobility and collaboration by identifying new unlocks and working with the rProduct heads to implement these initiatives on the field. This team is also responsible to drive productivity by defining guidelines / “ways of working” Product with the objective to grow and deepen the  reach globally

Broad outline of the Role

Leads a team of strategy professionals . Provide advisory support to senior management, business leaders and BUs/functions. Responsible for smooth execution of qualified corporate strategy projects; Lead scoping discussions and assign resources; Time is spent both on operational and strategic activities Tactical role which provides a marked contribution to defining the direction of new products, processes, standards or operational plans based upon business strategy, with a significant mid term impact on business unit overall results. Identifies problems and significantly improves, changes or adapts existing method and techniques. Focus is on implementation and control as well as strategy development. May have involvement in regional/segment projects, may lead teams under overall supervision Education :Business Management Graduate Experience : Knowledge of business with about 8-10 years of strategy or business knowledge

Minimum qualification & experience

Sales, Business Dev expereince in technology industry. Minimum 5 years expereice in senior roles. Comfortable with technology.

Other knowledge/skills

Proven experience in consulting a products/ sales team / building and running a CFT team across multiple countries, ideally globally.
Be a thought leader – actively shape the agenda of the defined r Product
Act as a trusted advisor for the leadership team and influence them to implement critical initiatives on the field to drive sales growth
Collaborate and form strong relationships with functional areas (sales, product, operations and marketing) to drive tight alignment on RTM/ Product goals.
Think ahead. Form a solid understanding of market dynamics and company direction to be able to anticipate and drive the growth in the Route
Act as a recognised leader and influencer across the broader cross-functional team
Track record of developing strategy, and driving in geo execution with success
Worked successfully within a matrix management environment
Ability to interact and communicate with various levels in the organization from individual contributor to senior executives.
High energy and comfort working in a fast-paced, start-up style environment
Strong leader, self-starter and proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities

1.Product Strategy

Define 3-5 year strategy for specific Product , including the 1-3-30 strategy, all aspects of it from roles, capabilities, engagement strategies and frameworks
Own and drive understanding of growth  trends and implications for products 
Develop better sales and products interlock.
Curate, nurture and develop a non conventional, non-technology, Dynamic Performance Ecosystem
Review external market scenario ; conduct analytics on current market trends, assimilate analyst reports and provide relevant information to the business. Advise business on go-to-market strategy, keeping them informed of latest developments in technology (e.g.desktop based video- conferencing), conduct competitor benchmarking related to financial performance & operational aspects such as network spends, customer segment base etc. Prioritize focus operational areas that need intervention in an immediate 6-12 month period.          

2.Identify and Roll out Strategic Initiatives to drive growth

Define and own priority initiatives in the product based on identifying unlocks to drive revenue growth and drive thinking on resource optimisation
Developing programs with marketing to drive focussed growth
Collaborate with the products  leads and implement these initiatives on the field

3. Strategy Plan Deployment and Tracking

Communicate the finalized strategic plans to the product leadership teams; Drive agreement on the review process, frequency and dashboards of the plan; Periodically monitor and facilitate the review of segment dashboard; Track and review deviations in key internal strategic planning parameter and assumptions regarding the environment (Demand, Economy, competition); Facilitate course correction measures as required; Issue advisory to the AOP Team in the Strategic Plan imperatives to align AOP with the Strategic Pl

4.Change Management

Think through and oversee deployment of tools and processes to improve efficiency and productivity 
Drive the relevant behaviour change programs to ensure the products teams have the appropriate skills, competencies and leadership (working with Readiness team)
 

5.Team Development

Regularly review team structure and assess talent requirements; participate in the recruitment and selection process; conduct goal setting and performance review for the team; drive team development, engagement and reward initiatives; coach and mentor team members as required and ensure resolution of any people issues.
