Assistant Manager - Perimeter Security

Job Family Descriptor

The role defines the ability to handle L1 , L2 level tickets of Firewall and Proxy devices, WAF(Web Access Firewalls) this includes troubleshooting of security incidents to controls the impact also new service request from the customer.
The roles needs ability to work independently while handling multiple client incidents, projects.

Broad outline of the Role

• Lead the technical deployment or troubleshooting on any of 2 products - Firewall, UTM, Proxies, IDS&IPS
  ·         Implement project/change and troubleshoot incidents on Proxy Zscaler
  ·         Implement project/change and troubleshoot incidents spanning various Firewall/UTM vendor products involving Cisco, Fortinet
  ·         Adherence to ITIL service management framework
  ·         Monitor/manage the customer perimeter security infrastructure as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with minimal escalations. 
  ·         Vulnerability Management of the managed infrastructure with appropriate remediation
  ·         Apply investigation techniques to document root cause and impact of detected computer security incidents. 
  ·         Performs or assists with IT security assessments or audits of internal and external networks and systems under the direction of the IT Security management. Document findings in written reports with recommendations for remediation.
  ·         Assists with the development and documentation of an overall IT Security architecture to assure confidentiality, integrity and availability of company IT assets.
  ·         Develops and maintains good communications and working relationships with teams and external clients.

Minimum qualification & experience

• ·         Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related IT field 
  ·         5-8 years Network  security administration, network security administration with security responsibilities
  ·         Good work experience on any two products - Firewall, UTM, Proxies, IDS&IPS, 
  ·         Professional certification in IT security or network / systems administration is desirable (CCNA , CCNP, CEH, Forntinet, Check Point Certifications).
  ·         Able to communicate with technical staff/management.
  ·         Able to work on flexible 24/7 shifts.
  ·         Ability to adapt and follow the processes and guidelines
  ·         Possess an impeccable work ethic and a high degree of integrity 

Other knowledge/skills
