Assistant Manager - SD-WAN Operations Engineer (OMAN)

Job Family Descriptor

IP SDWAN- Location: OMAN (onsite)

Developing, implementing and deploying SD-WAN and SDN configurations
Providing support and troubleshooting technical issues
Creating and following SD-WAN and SDN  implementation plans
participate in other next-gen technical project delivery  
Work with cross functional team for solution development and training and knowledge sharing
Acts a single point of Technical contact during Technical Escalation Management
Practices to make devices & operations more efficient
Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and network deployments using new products and feature.
Overall responsibility of expert level for technical support (Incident, Problem, Critical Changes)

Good to moderate knowledge on IP Networking CCNA /CCNP ,  Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and switching (VLAN, Trunking, Dot1x, various flavors of STP)
Experience in planning and designing or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN/LAN networks.

Broad outline of the Role

5- 8 years of experience Telecom. Exeperience in product development will be added advantage

Working experience on SD-WAN products like Versa, Viptela.

Network protocols: BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP,IGRP, ISIS MPLS, QoS etc. 

BE, B.Tech in computer Science or with relevant subject

CCNA, CCNP , JNCIA-Cloud ,Versa SD-WAN Administrator
