Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provisioning in Access Network and voice switches like C20, Oracle/Ribbon SBC
  • Design, understand and audit configurations for layer 3, layer 2 and voice services
  • Validate the request, analyze the impact and plan for implementation
  • Ability to audit the services in NMS and in database and plan for migrations.
  • Ability to understand and optimize the process for an agile delivery. 
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders, operations center, and the planners with on-going projects to clear the dependencies.
  • Managing escalations within the team and communications to stakeholders
  • Login to Voice network elements like Oracle SBC, Ribbon SBC, DMS and C20/CS2K Switches and Trunk group and routing configurations verifications.

Mandatory Knowledge and experience

  • Must have experience with Carrier Ethernet, Routing, Switching. 
  • Must have experience in TDM and VOIP Enterprise products configuration and design.
  • Must have knowledge in VLAN encapsulation, switching protocols.
  • Must have experience in Routing and Switching with firm hold on protocols. SIP protocol for Voice.
  • Familiarity in OSS and NMS. Be able to understand the task workflow and interpretation of drawings/schematics


  • CCNA/CCNP preferred

Desired Skills

  • Experience in configuration and provisioning of enterprise voice services like ISDN PRI, SIP PRI.
