Job Family Descriptor
- Defining & Adhering to SLA's, Handling tickets/Problems/Requests/Change, RCA/SOP/POA, Troubleshooting technical issues, Analytical thinking
- Vendor/OEM management and Own the responsibilities of vendor engagement by overseeing their activities of Installation & Configuration
- Configure and Manage: Firewalls, DDoS, URL Filtering, VPN, WAF, IDS/ IPS, UTM devices, SIEM hardware and software operation
- Improves and maintains customer satisfaction. Mentoring and coaching team members.
- OS and Application Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support with defined RPO and RTO, When the restoration is beyond the scope of the IT Support Engineer, he will escalate the issue/problem to proper tier 3 support team member
- Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time. Patch management to maintain security level.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups of business and technical stakeholders is required.
- Should have understanding datacenter networks including physical layer infrastructure, servers, LAN/ WAN hardware, software, data transmission facilities and interconnecting devices.
- Ability to learn and apply new technical skills and concepts quickly. Ability to work in a highly dynamic and complex Network environments
- Strong understanding of network and security technologies. Anti-virus and other security specific tools operations.
- Monitoring of health of Security Components & sanity checks 24/7. Performs deep-drive incident analysis by correlating data from various sources
- Managing Symantec End point and Symantec messaging gateway- Antispam, Anti-virus, content encryption, pine app mail secure etc.
- System Improvement process
- Install & configure Windows, AD, DNS, DHCP and Exchange server, firewall, training lab etc.
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 10 and Server 2012/16 and Microsoft Office 2016 and any other authorized applications.
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment
- Strong troubleshooting & Diagnose resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems to help minimize downtime.
- Develop sound understanding of IT operations and related applications and IT systems as well as business related processes and procedures.

- Strong Understand of IT hardware and Software
- Experience in Client server Architecture
- Should have experience in international segments Onshore or Offshore
- Knowledge with, configuration management, monitoring, debugging and troubleshooting of IT Infra components
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer interactive skills. Must be a team player.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding oral, written, presentation and analytic skills.
- Strong desktop application skills (Microsoft Office).
