Sr Engineer / Assistant Manager - NOC HFC Troubleshooting (Chennai / Pune)

Responsibilities

 -  L2  level troubleshooting of Access incidents and assess resolver groups
 - Creation of restoration plan, Temporary Fix or Workarounds 
 - Indentify and initiate Field dispatch requirement
 - Incident resolution coding and closure
 - Track, control and manage the resolution of each Assigned Incident 
 - Field tickets enrichment with adequate information
 - Maintain Incident ticket “work Log”  
 - Identify L3/TAC level support from OEMs
 - Identify network capcity issues/shortfall and highlight future needs
 - Create Missed Incident Reviews (MIR)  and Ticket Incident Reviews (TIR)
- Perform RCA of high impact/priority incidents./faults
 - Engage, support and work effectively with customers Major Incident Management 

Experience Required

  • 6-8 Years of experience in :

- Hands on experienc of complex  FTTx and HFC access network issues.
- Hands on experience in Nokia DSLAMs, Nokia and Commscope cabinets, Nokia OLT's, Nokia NTD's, passive fibre and copper networks, Cisco, Nokia 7x50
- Experience of handling multi-vendor access network.
- Should have atleat 3-5 years working experience in bradband NOC 
- Strong knowledge of FM/PM, Logical Inventory (SNIM), Physical inventory (SpatialNet), Netcool, Remedy, E6000 (CMTS), Xpetrak, NxT, Tableau, Comptel tools. tools.
- Network analytics and troubleshooting of network issues
- HFC experience (CMTS:E6000, Nodes: OM4100, Amplifiers: FM321, FM601, NTD: CM820, CM8200
- Sound knowledge of HFC network components like CMTS, Nodes, Amplifiers, NTD, Taps, Splitters, LPI, LPS, Power Block, Coupler etc.)
