Sr Customer Service Executive - International Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Operation and maintenance of Telecommunication equip.
• First level trouble shooting and repair of subsea transmission and network data centre environment.
• Remote sites support at amplifier nodes.
• Physical installation and basic configuration of Servers & Network Data Centre equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance plans are completed in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
• An understanding of building systems, including Chillers, Generators, and other building facility related equipment.
• Overseeing facility maintenance being performed by contractors and ensuring this work carried out to a high standard.
• Interacting with [BMS] Building Management Systems and CMMS systems [Computerised Maintenance Management System].
• Perform operations and maintenance of the subsea transmission equipment as well as the Network Data Centre locations.
• Perform daily activities as per Standard Operating Practices.
• Add Perform tasks to maintain Operations key deliverables to agreed SLA. Service Assurance, Service Delivery and Project support.
• Maintaining the Facility, Colocation, Hosting and Network equipment. To perform tasks and work on all infrastructure within site and support or maintain remote locations.
• Processing of new customer orders, ensuring the provision of new circuits are completed within the SLA.
• Ensuring Network and RHS Trouble Tickets are reacted and dealt with in a timely manner.
• Supervision of access and security
• Asset management
• To perform the housekeeping of technical areas - Leased areas, & Colo Rooms.

Minimum qualification & experience

• Electrical qualifications / 18th Edition.
• 5 years minimum in Facility Maintenance of a Data Centre and or Telecommunications Network environment.
• Degree or industry experience equivalent.
• Driving License

• Understanding of Electrical and Mechanical facility plant.
