Broad outline of the Role

• The role is responsible for network operations and maintenance. This is an operational role that may seek appropriate level of guidance and advice to ensure delivery of quality outcomes.

Purpose - Broad objective of the role

Should have strong technical skills in the operation and maintenance of Fibre & transmission systems covering performance monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, hardware installation & Commissioning etc.
- Hands on experience in all kind of transmission equipment’s and TMI instruments.
- Skills in handling different test equipment such SDH analyser, OTDR, protocol analyser, BERT meter, optical power meter, etc.
- Provide 24x7 emergency call-outs to NOC and other teams for O&M activities in network
- Vendor management, payments, and performance analysis.                                                                                  - Project initiation of newly awarded project, from BOQ and contract verifications to Mobilization of the resources. - Excellent communications skills, analytical problem solving, planning, organizing & documentation.               - SLA/KPI achievements, quality targets achievements.                                                                                     - Maintain excellent connect with the client and internal stakeholders

Minimum qualification & experience

• Graduate with 0-4 years of experience

Other knowledge/skills

• Demonstration of problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in providing technical support in fast paced, high availability, 24X7 environments.
• Knowledge of network, operation systems

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining, administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting network tools and equipment
• Assisting with and implementing installations as required for new and existing customer and internal projects inclusive of - terminations, testing and labelling of most common transmission mediums, hardware installations etc.
• Ensure SLA are achieved and work proactively to maintain the same.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments for networks, Servers, applications, and operating systems
• Conduct network security audits and scanning on a predetermined basis.
• Compile and track vulnerabilities over time for metrics purposes.
• Timely upgradation of all the tools used and their related documents like SOPs etc.
