Purpose of your Role

 

Lead and drive the advanced technical solutions management team to impliment best practise for:

  1. Solution and ervice review of new revenue business opportunities
  2. design & delivery of complex technical solutions for customers
  3. Engineering bespoke products as per market demands
  4. Technical lifecycle support for TCL Top revenue global accounts

with the objective of 

  • ensuring design and delivery of complex solutions using products/services from the TATA portfolio
  • designing & delivering new products & services to cater to upcoming market needs
  • Top accounts have consistency during contract lifecycle of solution integrity
  • -Team scales globally to support GES and GCS segments
     

You will be accountable for (Key Responsibilities)

 

Sales Deal Reviews
Participate in panel meetings for classifying bid contracts as per LoB criteria; Provide support to sales teams in preparation of documents like technical capability, SDD and technical proposal for RFPs; As per SDD pricing, discuss with senior management for approval; Highlight, to team members, issues  in SDD such as incompleteness and technical non-feasibility; Interact with relevant engineering teams for resolution and sign-off of technical issues; Track progress on win-status of RFPs and subsequently, allot to TDA, as necessary.  Menotring regional teams to provide bid support in a consistent manner while understanding cultural and market diversity.

 

Technical Solutions Design and Delivery
Track and review progress of each projects' technical solution design, planning & delivery carried out by TDA along with PMs; Review and approve, as required, project details & non-standard/complex solutions such as technical solution delivery documents, proof of concept and migration plan; Oversee and drive interlock with LoB-SA team for migration planning, change management and final handover for solution support to customer; Handle escalations related to technical solution design, SLA breach and technical issues.
Driving actions within existing TOP Global accounts to maintain network integrity during contract lifecycle.

 

Escalation Management
Conduct periodic reviews/update meetings with TDAs and PMs; Interact with service assurance team manager for any issues/escalations post-solution delivery; Drive team to provide timely support to SA team for any escalation

 

Design and Engineering of Products
Engineer Value Added Services to a high repeatable standard while building strong level 4 support capabilties for business
Lead team for design and development of new products for VNO such as IP Connect, DSL Access, ASVPN network, APO product lines and network acceleration and optimization services; Analyse MRD received from product marketing team and drive team to prepare solution & engineering document, and technical mechanics of the product.

 

Team Development
Regularly review team structure and assess talent requirements; Participate in the recruitment and selection process; Conduct goal setting and performance review for the team; Drive team development, engagement and reward initiatives; Coach and mentor team members as required and ensure resolution of any people issues.
Drive Service Assurance Improvements into the daily operations to ensure the business is always managing solutions aligned with customer expectations and market capabilties.

Experience

You have (Qualification and exp)

 

  • A CISCO certified internet working expert with 10 years of relevant idustry experience with a strong network/design role in telecom industry
  • Proven record of supporting business growth and providing solutions to new challenges while managing a global team of technical staff
  • Ability to demonstarte experience with integrating multi-product technoligies into a single solutionExcellent skills in communication both internally and externally
  • Excellent written and technical author skills
  • Process minded to drive excellence and efficiencyGlobal Position and expected to build strong collaboration across geographies with different business Units.  
  • Supporting Top Global Accounts only which deliver approximatly 85% of the GES revenue
