Senior Manager - Global Network Expansion Partnership

Reports to: Daniel Fok – Director, Global Network Expansion Partnership

About The Function

  • This is the role to onboard new partners and maintain the life cycle management with the existing partners.

Role Purpose

  • This is the Senior Manager role who can work independently to onboard new partners and maintain the relationship of the existing partners within Europe, so that we can expand our coverage to the end customers in Europe.
  • Need to increase our RFP win rate in this region by the partner support
  • Project management of the whole onboarding process, including Product introduction, MSA and Service Schedule negotiation, external and internal discussion on the operation process...etc
  • Maintain the Life cycle management for the existing partners, including the price table review, coverage expansion, Product mapping and retirements
  • Support the sales to win the RFPs with the suggested partners in the region

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the strategy to expand TCL's core network to cover end customers within Europe
  • Identify the potential partners in the region for different IZO IW variants, including but not limit to DIA, Broadband, Mobile Data and Satellite connectivity.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to negotiate with the potential partners for the required documents, including MSA, Service Schedules, Business Operation Guidelines...etc
  • Maintain strong relationship with the partners to support any specific requirement for customer request, and to improve cost efficiency 
  • Continue discussion with existing partners for the updated Product mapping, coverage expansion and price table renewal
  • Support Product team to communicate with Partners for new technology development.
  • Work closely with Product to support the RFPs with competitive pricing and matching customer's demand on the specific solution
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for senior management and can deliver regular reports on time
  • Leading the QBR with partners, seeking the priority input from other internal teams Lead cost optimization initiatives

Minimum qualification & experience

  • Good understanding of Global Telecom Networks, Internet Access Technologies, especially with partners in Europe
  • have good market knowledge of pricing and product offer from partners within Europe
  • Technical and commercial knowledge on Internet business
  • Project planning and implementation
  • Experience in Contract negotiation with partners
  • Good communication and presentation skill.
  • Can do attitude and creative mindset
  • can prove the good connection with popular partners in Europe
  • Bachelors Degree in engineering or business or equivalent qualification

Other knowledge/skills

  • 8-15 years relevant experience in Telecommunication environment, especially experience in managing Telco partners in Europe region.
  • Familiar with MS office, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and database software
  • Contract negotiation
  • Good communication in English
  • Can do attitude
  • Have basic knowledge of Internet Access and other connectivity media in Telco industry
