Monthly Financial MIS and Monthly financial presentation (preparation) detailing all financial
and non-financial analysis for the CEO and CFO.
 Managing revenue month on month, accruing same, basis the contracts signed/PO issued
with/by customers.
 Financial analysis for CEO and Board, Variance analysis for each Revenue and cost line items for
discussion with CEO and CFO, Balance Sheet analysis at quarterly intervals.
 Capital Investment evaluation – Business case preparation for Capital Expenditure proposals.
 Pricing - Pricing quotes for deals working out P&L for bids and opportunities.
 Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial
recommendations to management for decision making purposes
 Rolling Estimates and Outlook.
 Portfolio level and Site Level profitability.
 Managing revenue month on month, accruing same, basis the contracts signed/PO issued
with/by customers.
 Strengthening and establishing processes for Revenue accounting, ensuring no leakages.
 Matching of costs incurred with revenue booking and accounting.
 System controls – Implementation of system controls to ensure tight monitoring and adherence
to processes.
 Revenue MIS – Breaking and granulating revenue recognition to its logical components – Fixed,
variable, transaction based, etc with non-financial indicators.
 Reduction of Unbilled and continuous monitoring of Unbilled ageing to improve Working capital
and Cash flows.
 Ensuring strong collaboration and interlock with Functional teams to ensure all of above.
 Managing and taking overall financial/commercial/revenue numbers for a region.

 Working closely with the Internal and Statutory auditors
 Prepare and Review contracts (Including renewal of existing contracts) for any financial leverage
and other obligations which might have financial/non-financial impact to the Organization.
 Preparing Obligation registers and monitoring the same with regular cross functional coordination.
 Direct coordination with legal team to ascertain all aspects of the contract are taken into
consideration.
 Monitoring the invoicing activities to ensure timely generation of commercial invoices.
 

Broad outline of the Role

New geography expansion/Entity formation and business commencement, profitability
management, controls and continuous analysis/audit of consortium including end to
end coordination with Tax and Treasury.
o Supplier concerns on GST, IR issues, etc – Working closely with TCTS Vendor
management and Tax and IR teams in TCL to ensure quick turnaround and closures of
such concerns.
o High value business cases with multi-year deals, partnering with business and delivery to
ensure maximum efficiency, strong bridge between TCTS and TCL – Tax and treasury
teams.
o Maximizing profitability – Working with Sales and Delivery teams to ensure cost control,
measuring efficiencies, etc, granulating the spends to enable businesses to have visibility
leading to ease in decision making.
o Customer wise profitability with key focus areas of Manpower efficiency measurement
and optimization, detailed reports customer account wise to enable business teams to
take faster decisions.
o Strong bridge between procurement and business to quantify cost savings on various
O&M related work areas, working with vendors/suppliers, and monitoring Cost
improvement plans.
o Strong bridge between business operations and legal on contracting, ensuring SLAs and
KPIs are well defined financially and within the profitability matrix.
