Broad outline of the Role

• The objective of the role is to build network capacity to ensure availability of network to support products and services to meet customer requirements. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on day-to-day capacity planning operations.

Minimum qualification & experience

• Bachelors Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
• 4-7 years relevant experience

Other knowledge/skills

• Project management experience
• Expertise in Telecom provisioning, capacity management solutions
• Experience in network management applications and data network
• Experience in Database applications like Remedy, Clarity and Crammer etc
• Infrastructure Sizing and Capacity management experience

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in discussions to understand usage of equipment, structuring of sites etc.
• Monitor grade of service of the network and suggest augmentation/optimization where required.
• Ensure order completion related to capacity augmentation or modification within TAT.
• Drive the program management for Migration/ Modernization Projects
• Monitor project status and adherence to project timelines and guide team on escalations.
• Review traffic forecasts, past trends, and utilization reports to analyse trends.
• Analyse results provided by operations team on health of network.
• Monitor the load across route Managers and redistribute load if required.
• Provide inputs to support the service assurance team in escalations raised during cable failure situations to mitigate the impact.
