Installing, managing, and upgrading Windows/linux -based systems and
servers within a company
Installing,configuring and managing virtual infrastructure,Esxi
v7.0.3,Vcentre,Vsphere 6.5, 6 ,Esxi 7.
Creating and configuring Datacentre and clusters in Vcentre server.
Performing snapshots,Cloning, Adding Cpu/Ram using Hot plugins and
Experience on Vmotion and Svmotion,HA features, DRS features,FT

Configuring Vsphere standard switch Vss and virtual distributed switch
VDS, Creating virtual switch,port group,vm kernerl management network

Size and Scope of Role - Total team size

Managing vcentre and all hosts.
RHEL OS 7.9 to 8.8 upgradtion.
Patching of servers via satellite
Onboarding new physcial server.
Managing Team and client.

Minimum qualification & experience

• Graduate with 4-7 years of experience

Other knowledge/skills

• Good knowledge on implementation, installation, integration troubleshooting and overall functionalities
• Experience in troubleshooting platform related issues, data backup, restoration, retention
• Maintains awareness of latest technologies in the domain

Key Responsibilities

   ·        

• Good knowledge of the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server 2016.
• Administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Install Configure Manage VMware ESXi Infrastructure and Vcenter Server.
• Extensive knowledge of EMC Storage, Brocade SAN switches, and tape libraries.
• Must have hands on experience in Windows cluster configuration, monitoring, and administration.
• System performance and capacity monitoring in Windows and VMware environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware & Hyper V.
• Manage Updates for Hosts and VMware tools for VM s via Update Manager Plug in Configure and Manage HA DRS Resource Pools clusters.
• Troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis of issues related to Windows servers.
