Key Account Management Activities

Tata Communications is looking for a successful and dynamic Sales manager who will cover Aggregators/Carriers, MNOs, OTTs and Enterprises for A2P SMS. The candidate will be expected to drive business in collaboration with various internal & External stake holders.

Key Account Management Activities
•    Manage Key in-region SMS accounts
•    Buying: Driving cost reduction and presenting the right quality/capacity routes for various products including bids.
•    Selling: Growing destination wise traffic, timely price offer for A-Z destinations, monitoring the traffic etc.
•    Develop account plans to overachieve the assigned targets.
•    Manage Sales funnel pipeline (Existing & New) and provide Sales Projections to senior management.
•    Drive discussions with assigned accounts to develop and grow buying and selling opportunities.
•    Develop & maintain strong CXO and operational level relationships with key personnel in assigned named accounts as well as industry peers.
•    Hunting potential new interconnects and drive quote to cash process for onboarding them on TCL platform.
•    Aggregators
•    MNOs
•    OTTs
•    Enterprise
•    Track A2P SMS product and market intelligence, regulatory changes, market dynamics, industry trends, competitive activities and share with various       internal stake holders.
•    The person will manage the farming activities for A2P SMS accounts and where relevant for wholesale voice accounts as well including SWAPs

Experience Required

•    Must have experience in Telecom industry and 3+ years in SMS, Mobility, experience of working with multi-cultural wholesale SMS salespeople.
•    Should understand the various A2P SMS Systems & Process intricacies and dependencies of the business, pricing, routing and product features
•    Should have existing CXO relationship in the A2P SMS Segment.
•    Should have a good understanding of the regulations and legal nuances of the business globally.
•    Proficiency in English a must, any other language would be added advantage
