About Role

Designation- Deputy General Manager

Location- Mumbai-Equinox

Reports to- Vice President 

Purpose of your role- Partner with Product Management or Sales functions across all finance areas with an objective of meeting their key financial metrics - short, medium as well as long term. Identify and partner to action levers to achieve the Gross Rev, Gross margin, Contribution margin for the respective Line Of Business by enabling financial process improvements, governance and monitoring of financial and non- financial operating metrics. Drive Line Of Business performance management, Outlook (till Contribution), Co-own product pricing framework creation and its refinement during new product development journey. For existing offers/products, periodic price book refresh aligned to margin guidelines. Work with commercial management/product in non – standard deal pricing including exceptional pricing approval process as per pricing & deal evaluation guidelines.

Custodian of the financial governance/ approvals - responsible for managing capex approvals (and Opex as per DOP

Partner for 5yr/ 3yr planning, annual operating planning processes

You will be accountable for (Key Responsibilities)

• Support, co-own and partner with Line of Business to drive its financial objectives as per company’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP) – Gross Order Book, Gross Revenue, Gross margin %, Contribution %, Capex
• Partner with Product (as applicable) on bottoms up annual operating plan and 5 yr. Strategic plan
• Create and co-own the pricing framework for new products/ services including but not limited to refresh of product price books as per market movement and aligned to the prescribed pricing guidelines. Interlock with the commercial management/ Sales for market inputs.
• Co-own and drive the creation and appraisal of the investment/ capex proposals
• Skilling and team development

You have (Qualification and exp)

CA/MBA, Engineering / Economics/ Commerce graduate

with a minimum experience of 12 years of experience
