This group of positions is responsible for the marketing and corporate communications activities which include developing and driving a marketing and communication strategy, developing digital marketing plans (cross selling, op-selling etc.) to support business strategies, developing a roadmap for analyst relations and sharing of marketing insights with top mgmt. for presenting in various forums; Define and evolve partner enablement program. Conduct product marketing activities include advertising/ brand marketing, sales promotion, communication messaging, PR exhibits and trade exhibitions to create strong brand perception of products and service for the product/business. Manage internal marketing media like intranet and extranet; Develop all necessary marketing collateral like presentations, product slicks and Webex for new products and services across all geographies; Manage and maintain relationships with external marketing and event agencies, Develop and assess efficacy of marketing material with relevant business teams. Prepare annual communication plans aligned with Corporate strategy and identify brand positioning across product portfolio. Deliver the communication strategy including aspects such as key messaging, communication channels and target audience. Develop and repackage the BU/product specific communication to maintain consistency with the overall company. Develop the messaging and media presentation. Develop and deliver a coherent media and analyst relations strategy.

Broad outline of the Role

As Manager – Corporate Communications, you will be a part of the global corporate communications team to support corporate, India-based tasks and projects, apart from leading, driving and managing all internal and external communications for the Middle East and Africa region.  

Key Responsibilities

Crafting key messages, presentations, Q&As and other documents used by leaders and executives to convey strategy and ensure consistent, coherent cascade of information across audiences externally and internally. 

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the journalists across business, technology and trade media across the region assigned and ensure relevant metrics to demonstrate growth and influence.  

Developing effective engagement and relationship build strategies and support senior leadership team in their ability to engage media, bloggers, influencers and teams in business and organisational priorities. 

Conceptualise, manage and run events like leadership sessions / meets, live or virtual kick off meetings to engage, motivate and align regional teams.  

Developing communications that are well-researched, high quality, clear, crisp, coherent and consistent for all business and corporate thematic ensuring 100% accuracy and completeness.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the journalists across business, technology and trade media across the region assigned and ensure relevant metrics to demonstrate growth and influence.

Developing effective engagement and relationship build strategies and support senior leadership team 

Minimum qualification & experience

  

  • Strong media relations, either agency or client side. 

  • Has worked in a matrix structure multi-national company, managing international regions 

  • Prior experience in internal communications and working with senior stakeholders 

  • Understands concepts, design and execution of digital media campaigns, including social media

Technical Competencies

  • Tertiary qualified in Communications (Bachelor or Masters)   

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Communications roles 

  • Experience with geographically distributed teams is an advantage 

  • Outstanding communications skills, including written and spoken English 

  • Experience in managing campaigns  

  • Experience with successful handling of issues and crisis communications with internal and external audiences 

  • Ability to think strategically and innovatively within the area of communications, as well as the capability to implement and follow-up on decisions taken. 

  • Service-oriented team player who can handle tight deadlines and work under pressure.
