Job Family Descriptor
- To develop central governance capability and ensure effective controls are in place across the Company to meet all privacy related statutory requirements as per directives set out by the appropriate data protection authorities.
- To keep abreast of regulatory and technological developments and best practice in the data privacy and information security arena, and design, develop and implement privacy documents/guidelines, processes, controls and tools to demonstrate Company’s compliance with applicable privacy regulations.
- To design, develop and implement a program to embed privacy by design at an early stage into project methodology/risk management.
- To conduct data protection impact assessments as required under applicable privacy regulations.
- To coordinate with relevant stakeholders and determine privacy ownership, roles and responsibilities across all functions within the Company.
- To develop and support KPI’s for compliance with applicable privacy regulations.
- To conduct privacy audits and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for remediation of audit observations.
- To support Supply Chain in conducting privacy due diligence for new and existing vendors.
- To act as the point of contact for the purpose of grievance redressal and provide assistance to and co-operate with relevant data protection authorities on matters of privacy compliance.
- To design, implement and manage training and awareness programs related to the Company’s privacy framework incl. publishing progress reports on privacy operations and initiatives.
- Other related duties as assigned from time-time.
Broad outline of the Role
The candidate will be part of the Company’s Global Information Security team, reporting to the General Manager – Data Privacy , and will work on all privacy operational and compliance matters and initiatives of the Company, including the development, implementation and monitoring of a company-wide privacy program.

Minimum qualification & experience
6-8 Years of Total Experience with minimum of 3-4 years’ data privacy experience

Graduate + Qualified Data Privacy Practitioner (DCPP/ DCPLA/ CIPP/ CIPM/ CIPT).
