Job Family Descriptor

Product Development & Simplification:
a) Lead discussions with Sales, Customers, Engineering, Technology & Service Evolution and CSO to seek
feedback on enhancement of existing products and features;
b) Lead discussions with relevant teams such as Engineering, Finance, Service Assurance, Service Delivery,
Billing to discuss service realization and operationalizing.
c) Drive Product Simplification and Digital Transformation Journey ( initiated in Optimus) for International
Transmission portfolio and for its timely implementation, customers onboarding including business
processes enhancements to make them more and more Customer Centric.
Product Strategy:
a) AOP preparation for the portfolio on the basis of customer needs, market requirement, regulatory
challenges etc.
b) Work with Finance & Cable strategy team for Business case preparation on New cable build.
c) Cable strategy for the regions - growth plan, upgrades, technology evolution. Cables #10 (TGN-EA, TIC,
SMW-4, IMEWE, BBG, i2i, TGN-Gulf, SMW-3, SAFE/SAT-3, FEA)

Level Descriptor

Sales & Marketing Enablement:
a) Discuss go-to market plan and product positioning basis competition landscape analysis, customer
requirement, product improvement areas and USPs with Sales and Marketing team and plan marketing
campaigns such as special pricing, cross product bundling;
b) Guide team to define governance process and ensure adherence; Monitor product, process and
governance training for Sales team.
c) Lead Marketing intiative - Maps, Broachers, Case Studies, Intranet and extranet with Product Marketing
team
d) Lead the global training calendar covering back-end and front end team are covered

Purpose - Broad objective of the role

Revenue numbers:
Drive Profitable and sustainable Growth for India, SAARC & MENA International Tx Services Product & MDNS
Portfolio in FY21/FY22/FY23 including maintaining market leadership position.
Regulatory and Legal Compliance:
a) Guide team to be updated and anticipate changes in regulatory guidelines such as tariff revision
submission with TRAI;
b) Drive framework and policy definition to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines; Monitor adherence
to defined framework and take corrective actions if required.
c) ILD regulations and compliance for all cables landing in India, including terrestrial cable for SARC
countries (neighboring countries)
d) AFA regulation management including ongoing court case. Supporting Legal team on legal dispute.

Minimum qualification & experience

Required Qualification & Experience
Engineer with MBA (preferable).
Minimum 6+ years of experience in similar role with knowledge of Indian legal /regulatory
requirements, managing team and understanding of technology
Leadership skills such as people management, interpersonal skills; Customer centricity, cross
functional skills
