About Role
Designation- Manager/Sr Manager
Functional Area- EOHS and Sustainability
Objective- To implement and operationalize the organization’s Sustainability and Environmental initiatives and the compliance to law and regulatory requirements
Function-EOHS and Sustainability
Reporting To-Deputy General Manager- EOHS & Sustainability
Location - GK-1 Delhi
Experience-7-10 years’ experience on sustainability reporting including coordinating sustainability activities as a lead in a large/multi locational organization.
Major Deliverables
- Monitoring and rolling out of appropriate ESG practices and systems (Policies, Process, Procedures and Guides) and supporting functional teams in implementation.
- Developing and implementing sustainability communication plan for both Internal and external stakeholders and working towards improving the overall ESG performance of the company
- To anchor annual sustainability reporting process (SD Report) based on GRI standards in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- To support and review functional teams on resource management initiatives- Water, Waste, Carbon and Air emission reduction.
- To anchor company’s sustainability assessments like ECOVADIS, MSCI, DJSI and CDP.
- To anchor and lead company’s strategic sustainability initiatives and awards assesments.
- Develop the appropriate strategies to address the ESG risks and their potential impacts;
- Coordinating and overseeing environmental and sustainability audits by any external agency/consultant.
Desired Attributes
- Science / Engineering graduate with certification or degree in Environmental science / Sustainability management or relevant experience in sustainability reporting
- Best to have related work experience at multi-national company or a relevant experience in Environment, Social and Governance management consultancies wherein candidate has led the projects at a supervisory capacity.
- Understanding of GRI, CDP, DJSI and other Sustainability reporting & assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Persuasive ability, Investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Creativity and resourcefulness in developing and executing engagement plans and communication campaigns.
