This candidate will be handling strategy and relationship along with operational aspects of Access life cycle with Offnet Partners. In addition, he/she would be responsible for developing and managing Access Partners capabilities including mapping competitive landscape and roadmaps.  

Lead and inculcate automation, process improvements, tools & system enhancement to ensure continuous improvement of productivity along and Turnaround Time (TATs) from the Offnet partners.

This role objective is to ensure timely and quality response to Post-delivery Support and drive scalability in Partner’s echo system to meet Tata Communications expectations on complete Life cycle Management. Ensure partner performance adherence as per the Product & Engineering guidelines and to meet the defined Service quality parameters and associated support to raise and meet the end customer experience.

The candidate is expected to have Strong Business and Customer Orientation, Strategic thinking, and Creative Problem-Solving abilities, Assertive and Persuasive Communication Skills along with strong negotiation skills.

Carry out Periodic review and performance evaluation through Business / Balance Score cards and drive required improvements.

Inventory reconciliation. Track and report supplier SLA adherence.  Drive Partner systems to support and meet Tata Communication’s assurance expectations

Broad outline of the Role

Lead discussions and first level negotiations with potential access suppliers/partners on contractual capabilities. Participate in product strategy discussions. Resolve jeopardies encountered in the course of implementation. Lead weekly reviews with suppliers/vendors. Lead periodic audits of processes and metrics to drive cost optimization. Leads a team through expertise in most or all areas within Access Management. Tactical role which provides a marked contribution to defining the direction of new products, processes, standards or operational plans based upon business strategy, with a significant mid term impact on business unit overall results. May lead important projects that require providing experienced project team members with instruction, guidance and advice in all aspects of the project to ensure delivery of quality outcomes. Provides a second level management to a group of one or more teams led by a supervisor/team leader which in turn could comprise a combination of professional, technical administrative staff. May lead access managment projects across regions. Identifies problems and significantly improves, changes or adapts existing methods and techniques. Impact of decisions made is mid to long term in nature. Able to identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques. Education: An engineering graduate (electronics/ telecommunication) Experience: 10 - 12 years in service provider domain in telecom industry

Minimum qualification & experience

  • Engineering qualification with MBA (Preferred) with Sales, Operations and Relationship management background in Telecom domain with at least 10 years of exp.
  • Experience and working background from a ISP industry is Preferred.
  • Ability to interact with cross functional teams to meet the end results of the organizational/function.
  • Bring structured and focused management attention to customer's problems and to be proactive in raising escalations to the next level within the supplier’s organizations & other stakeholders.
  • Drive action plans for improvements and vendor profile management strategy along with performance tracking.
  • inclination to understand technology evolution and regulatory framework.
  • Knowledge and understanding of competitive scenario in the specific markets.
