Position Summary

The broad objective of this role is to protect and enhance revenue for Service Provider business of TCL through effective renewals, churn mitigation, timely and effective SDWIP conversion and driving adoption and consumption our growth services. 

The role involves managing the complete customer life cycle requirements including but not limited to renewals, retention, price revision, downgrades, upgrades, MACD, churn management, novation, driving collection issues, liaison MSA/contract negotiations, managing customer issues along with CRM, GTNOC etc.


Candidates with Prior Selling, renewal and retention experience in Telco, Managed Hosting Services, Security Services and Unified Collaboration Services would be given preference.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS according to Strategic Business Plan:

  • Nurture & Retain Customers
  • Bring upside to revenue by cross sell/upsell
  • Churn mitigation
  • Drive accelerated conversion of Service Delivery funnel into realizable revenue.
  • Ensure quality 360-degree life cycle management of a customer including issues related but not limited to renewals, PR, Upgrades/downgrades, contract management, novation, billing & collections, service issues etc. Meeting NPS targets for assigned territory.
  • Drive consumption of usage-based services (burstable IPT, GSIP, MOVE, UCC etc) to expand revenue, through effective boarding, adoption, and expansion of services.
  • Identify, generate, propose, and close sales opportunities for Tata Communications product and service solutions over the phone. Identify areas of expansion and build business plans for a defined territory. Conduct account research, profiling, RPC search and connecting with them to convert the conversations in to business opportunities and eventually conversions.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

•    Minimum 6+ years of experience in Inside/Digital Sales; preferably with Telco company or otherwise software companies with strong consultative selling experience. Should have strong expertise in both hunting and farming roles in international markets (US/EUROPE/APAC). Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship building skills required. Hands on Experience on SFDC or with major CRM tools.
•    Excellent written, oral and listening skills required Strong business acumen 
•    Strong ability to influence at all levels and strong negotiations skills 
•    Must be comfortable speaking with high level decision makers
•    Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills required.
•    Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative to get things done. Technical sales experience a must.
•    Tenacity/Intensity and results orientation.
•    Customer Centric Selling experience with strong customer focus is needed.
