Provisioning and Reengineering  experience in the Core/Access Transmission Network.

Day-to-day activity involves checking the daily provisioning tasks. Perform what is required: addition, modification, relocations and decommission scenarios based on the scope of work in the Engineering orders

Ability to perform manual and automated configurations with all required details.

Ability to identify network failures, determining source and cause of provisioning failures and recommending course of action.

Ability to liaise with stakeholders, operations Center and the planners with on-going projects in the transmission provisioning space.

Managing escalations within the team and communications to stakeholders

Delivering technical knowledge and support to the engineering team and own peers to enable the completion of complex orders

A thorough understanding of transmission activation; carrier ethernet transmission, aggregator activation, DWDM and legacy networks PDH, SDH.

Broad outline of the Role

Has enough knowledge within Service Assurance to allow them to apply their knowledge efficiently and work productively with broad instruction. Regularly participate in important projects or activities as a full contributing team member, is able to proactively identify important issues or risks, seeks the appropriate level of guidance and advice to ensure delivery of quality outcomes. Operational role which is responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within Service Assurance. Works under direct supervision. Able to identify problems and provide inputs to improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques drawing from personal experiences and feedback. Actively acquires more complex skills, techniques, operating practices, knowledge of abstract concepts in order to progress toward full proficiency in the field of specialisation. Has skills and knowledge that will allow them to adapt to effectively deal with unfamiliar issues, challenges, problems within their field of specialisation. Education: Engineering Graduate (CCNA/CCNP certification preferred) Experience: 0-4 years

Key Responsibilities

Experience in working on various Vendor platforms, Transmission systems and Network management system applications such as ECI, Tejas ,Huawei U2000, Alcatel Lucent, Nokia,Primtel and knowledge of ASON/DWDM/OTN/PSS/SDH/PDH and  RM, NMS/OMS Server.

Configuration Knowledge in various transmission equipment --- ne1626LM, ne1642em, ne1642emc, ne1660sm, ne1662smc, ne1678mcc, ECI-BG,XDM,NPT,Apollo OPT Family ,TJ1600_MODEL_POTP, TJ1400_Type-3SR, 1830PSS-4, 1830PSS-24,1830PSS-32, 1646SMC .

Must have experience of Services delivery and Online Troubleshooting with customer and customer experience for testing & link handover .

3+ Years of experience in telecom service delivery and 2+ years of NMS provisioning exposure .

Can do attitude, Self-driven with less supervision, excellent time management & multi-tasking. Effective written and verbal communication. Adaptable to flexible time
