Job Description

  • Applicant is responsible for Copper & Fibre outside plant engineering & must have a full understanding of outside plant installation activities. 
  • Identifying telecom infrastructure for specific location's with the help of GIS tools & application to resolve customer queries or service.
  • Must have knowledge of OSP & Experience with various Copper & Fibre cable technologies, including Aerial, Buried, Underground and various FTTX solutions and architectures. 
  • Demonstrated skill in the use of AutoCAD, Myworld. SpatialNet, and other industry-related hardware and software.
  • Job role includes outside plant Copper & Fibre cable & equipment knowledge to serve end customer service requirement by identifying existing & new infrastructure on field based on GIS tools and applications. 
  • Role will include observing OSP routes and confirming information in the field for proposed routes. 
  • Review current OSP design to understand principles and practices of current Brownfield/Greenfield/Copper/FTTH/GPON/Feeder network design. 
  • Work with Front end Agent, Engineering, Field technicians and Assignment teams to serve end customer requirements. 
  • Ability to utilize survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photography and other geographic data for consideration in planning & pre-delivery support.
  • Required to study & identify customer requirements receive in tickets/orders and respond with correct results. 
  • Ensuring SLA compliance and QoS of the customer services. 
  • Ensure adequate monitoring of various network aspects panning across different service and ensuring quick and appropriate resolution of issues.
