Assistant Manager - Product & Network Design, Development & Implementation- (SDWAN, Viptela, Versa)

Broad outline of the Role

Responsible for different aspects of engineering activities to provide differentiated services and solutions. These may also include product evaluation, solution designing and testing and roll out plan for existing and new services, including design of tools needed for operation of these new services and systems. This is an operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on day-to-day engineering operations in the respective areas of Network/SDWAN/Cloud and security/Unified Collaboration/Mobility and IoT.

Minimum qualification & experience

• Bachelors Degree in engineering or equivalent qualification
• 5  to 7 Years in systems engineering or related experience.

Key Skills

• Candidate must have 6+ years of experience in building/ designing, configuring, installing, managing, and monitoring networking and IP Telephony infrastructure related hardware and software from multiple OEMs.
• Knowledge in implementing integrated (Wired+Wireless+Security) Meraki networks.
• Deployment and maintenance (patch upgrades / change management) experience on leading SDWAN platforms like Viptela or Versa.
• Certifications : CCNA , Engineering Cisco Meraki Solutions 2 
• Ability to work in 24*7 Operations

Other knowledge/skills

Skill 1

• Must have helped client teams with integration workflows for networks to support multiple services like IPT, CCTV and AV systems. 
• Must have Performed Day0 and Day1 design and provisioning of the network equipment based on client requirements.

Skill 2

• Must provide technical input in reviewing architecture, policies, and procedures to ensure the security, back-up, failover, alerting, and recovery mechanisms. 
• Candidate must have knowledge in implementing integrated (Wired+Wireless+Security) Meraki networks, state of the art supporting multiple ELV and AV systems for large campuses like The Quorum club, ISDI university and other HNI residential properties.

Skill 3

• Knowledge of IRM and Field related activities to convert customer requirement and reduce movement of field resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems engineering for front-end processors, cloud infrastructure, multiplexes, SDWAN systems.
• Ensure timely rollout of system enhancements, migration, deployment, and optimization projects.
• Involved in planning, architecture designing, developing, and testing solutions and service products riding on network or across multiple network layers.
• Involved in the development of systems including storage, load balancers, servers, and routers/switches.
• Manage physical connectivity, hardware and automation tools.
• Resolve issues based on escalations from the end user.
• Perform integration with existing systems and conduct service validation prior to hand over to Service Operations team.
• Direct the assurance team in adopting measures for fault rate and ticket rate reduction.
• Ensure engineering Projects completed within target dates within budget and agreed scope.
• Performance tuning and automation of application.
