Provisioning Engineer 

  • Experience of Design in Core Transport Network
  • A thorough understanding of transport network design; IP CORE router design; Fibre design, carrier ethernet transmission and aggregator design. Create end to end path with intermediate  
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, SDH/PDH, EoSDH, DWDM, IP-DSLAM, lease lines, Layer 3
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders, operations center and the planners with on-going projects. 
  • Managing escalations within the team and communications to stakeholders
  • Identify capacity shortage proactively and propose workarounds 
  • Managing logical and physical inventory resources – Ports, Shelves VLANs, IP addresses etc. efficiently 
  • Create BOM/BOQ/Material listing for Design orders 
  • Ability to work for multiple night shifts in a week & Working at secure room if its expected
  • Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders during entire lifecycle of the order

Mandatory Knowledge and experience:

  • In-depth understanding of PDH & SDH Technologies and telecom standards & protocols 
  • Experience in fiber design for network orders and various rearrangement strategies
  • Exposure of working in multi-vendor, multi-platform eco-systems
  • Must have experience of design with core transport routers Cisco(ASR series), Alcatel(ARE 7750), Juniper(Nexsus/MX480/960), NCS540
  • Familiarity on Netcracker(Helix)/Crammer, Mapblaster/Google-Earth, Net config etc. Be able to understand the task workflow and interpretation of drawings/schematics
  • Must have experience of DWDM network using Alcatel PSS32 and Huawei OSN1800
