API Development Engineer

Skills and Role Responsibilities:

• Regarded for your expert knowledge in developing RESTful APIs, particularly familiar with the following languages:  Python, XML, JSON, NodeJS, GO, YAML, 
• Experience in the architecture and writing of microservices.
• Expert knowledge of CI/CD DevOps best practices & tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
• Expert knowledge of Relational, Non-Relational & NoSQL databases such as Elastic Search
• Development experience in data and message bus technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, 0MQ
• Acknowledged for your working knowledge of networking protocols, Linux (Red Hat Enterprise/CentOS), operational support systems/tools and SDN Controllers
• Familiarity with creating and implementing unit and integration tests including experience with TDD 
• Knowledge of containerization and related tools such as Kubernetes/Openshift, Docker/Docker Swarm
• Knowledge of service and network modeling tools and protocols such as YANG/Netconf, TOSCA, HEAT
• Extensive experience working in an Agile / DevOps Team environment
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills

Telecom Domain Knowledge
Knowledge in the area of SDN solutions and Cloud/Virtualization/Hypervisor platforms
10+ years of experience in a computing environment
