About Role

Designation- Sr. Customer Service Executive - Access Management

Location- Pune or Mumbai

About the Function- The FQ Europe quotation team are responsible for the access quotation for existing Tata customers, this could be a new service, upgrade downgrade or shift. Also for quoting/securing new customers. This requires engagment with European access providers on a daily basis.

Purpose of your Role

Lead and guide and provide appropriate, accurate and timely responses for tactical/BAU quotation activity with European access providers. Primary ASP contact to manage tactical/BAU quotation escalations. Provide inputs to supervisor about recurring issues, suggest remedial actions. Focus on maximizing automation of tactical/BAU quotation activity. Maintain strong relationship with European access suppliers to improve the efficiency & cost of delivery. Identify opportunities to increase business with key vendors through new services and solutions. Participate in weekly reviews with vendors. Create vendor performance reports for external meetings and senior management reviews. Assist with conducting the periodic audits of processes and metrics & pending action items. Conduct a clean order check as per checklist. Identify opportunities for process & cost optimization and provide information to supervisor. Implement optimization initiatives as per inputs & guidelines provided by supervisor. Operational role, responsible for setting objectives and delivering results that have a significant impact within the context of a wider operational area.

May be an individual contributor or may lead a team through application of deep knowledge of one job area or broad knowledge of several job areas within Access Management. Identifies problems and updates or modifies working methods in own role without the benefit of defined procedures. Knowledge of European access suppliers and access technologies a significant advantage.

You have (Qualification and exp)

  • Bachelor / Diploma of Business Management, Commerce, Engineering in any field     High level understanding of Offnet Access technologies such as TDM, Ethernet, MPLS, WLL, WIMAX, Wireless BB, Microwave, Satellite and other emerging Networking technologies and their commercial manifestations
  • Moderate level understanding of Global Networks & technologies
  • Negotiation Skills – targeting at European suppliers E.g. ability to navigate through direct or indirect ways to get commercials below competition
  • *** Knowledge of Offnet Access market prices in Europe
  • Existing working relationship with Telecom Service Providers and Carriers in Europe
  • Fast & Efficient in approach
  • Ability to work in diverse business and cultural environments
  • Willingness to embrace positive change if necessary and influence peers / external suppliers in positive & efficient working culture.

  • > 2 years of relevant experience working in telecom providers       E.g. COLT, Vodafone etc…
  • Special Added advantage: Relevant working experience on local access management preferably with global telcos or regional telcos
  • Added advantage: Experience in driving cost savings initiatives
