Role Overview :

Lead the engagement of Solutions / presales for all Tools and Automation offerings including technical, commercial and functional aspects of customer RFPs.

Minimum qualification & experience

  • Graduation in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field
  • 13-15 Years relevant experience

Role Description/Key responsibilities:

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Platform Pre-sales Head, with a focus on AI/ML, Automation, roadmap, and vision. The role is based in Pune, with flexibility for some remote work. As the Platform Pre-sales Head, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day tasks related to AI/ML and Automation platforms, including pre-sales activities, developing roadmaps and strategies, and providing expert guidance on the company's vision for these technologies.

Lead the engagement of Solutions / presales for all Tools and Automation offerings including technical, commercial and functional aspects of customer RFPs.

 

•    Front-end all the support for customer RFP requirements to solutions and presales customer. 
•    Validation of technical solution components, including architectural design of tools
•    Validation of commercial aspects, including cost of tools development, deployment and integration for tools proposed 
•    Laise with solutions and presales to fine tune and uplift technical solutions for  customer proposals (proactive & reactive)
•    Drive technical discussions with customers and lead all technical engagements with back-end team
•    Conduct tools/product demos independently with customers
•    Be a single point of contact for presales and solutions, supporting Tools and automation function
•    Document all requirements, activities and results and acquire approval of deliverables from the Customers, delivery team.
•    Maintain end-end tracking for all opportunities and their lifecycles and coordinate with sales /presales for follow up
•    Maintain records of all RFPs support, solution components, costs, and provide regular updates to management
•    Maintain technical and commercial records of all components of solutions
•    Coordinate with vendors and partners for technical solutions and 3rd party components
•    Able to drive discussions with customers, internal and external stakeholders and document minutes of meetings for tracking action items and driving them to closure.
•    Must have good technical documentation skills in Word, PPT and excel 

Technical Skills Required :


•    Must have good technical knowledge of telecom, OSS, Service Assurance, Network Operations, 
•    Fault and performance management, service quality management, configuration management,
•    ITSM – Incident /Problem / Change /Knowledge  / Asset management
•    Network service assurance, inventory management, Workforce management, 
•    SDLC, Agile /Scrum development experience and certification
•    Project management experience and certification (PMP, PRINC2)
•    Industry best practice ITIL, TM Forum, Net DevOps, ETOM, ISO 27001
•    Open source knowledge on tools (Software development/application deployment)
•    Security policies and IT 

Must Have Knowledge

  • Customer front-ending, solutioning of RFPs, customer demos, handled projects on Tools Automation, deployment of OSS applications, project management.
  • Must have sound knowledge on RFI/RFP response and technical and commercial solutioning for all type of customer opportunities. Should be able to lead the technical discussions with customers.
  • Telco Domain: Telco domain experience (Core/Edge, Agg/Pre-Agg, Carrier Ethernet, DWDM, IP, Mobile, RAN 4G/5G, GPON, FTTX).
