Responsibilities
- As a trusted advisor, consultative solution selling of Managed SD WAN and network related security solutions for new and existing customers in geographic region.
- New business development support within large clients
- Account/Opportunity Management.
- Closing business to hit targets.
- Work with Team to scope and manage solution sales cycle.
- Work as the key field representative to develop and drive sales pipeline for their exciting SD-WAN
- Drive SD-WAN infrastructure solutions into leading Commercial and Enterprise businesses
- Work closely with the rest of the sales team and working closely with them to identify SD WAN opportunity and support them from identify to close lifecycle.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position their SD-WAN solutions better
- Attend training classes as offered or directed
- Keeping up to date on trends, industry, competitors, etc.
What You Need for this Position
- Experience as a SD WAN (Specially Cisco Viptela and Versa) focused Overlay or Technical Business Development Manager in the Commercial, Enterprise, SLED and / or Fortune 1000 space is highly desired
- College degree or equivalent preferred
- Proven record of success achieving / exceeding sales targets and goals
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong sales experience in Services / Solutions
- Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives.
- Demonstrated technical and product knowledge of Cisco network solutions
- The successful candidate will have had a minimum of three to eight years of achieving sales goals and is comfortable with developing an account base, establishing relationships and closing viable business opportunities.
