This group of positions is responsible for the marketing and corporate communications activities which include developing and driving a marketing and communication strategy, developing digital marketing plans (cross selling, op-selling etc.) to support business strategies, developing a roadmap for analyst relations and sharing of marketing insights with top mgmt. for presenting in various forums; Define and evolve partner enablement program. Conduct product marketing activities include advertising/ brand marketing, sales promotion, communication messaging, PR exhibits and trade exhibitions to create strong brand perception of products and service for the product/business. Manage internal marketing media like intranet and extranet; Develop all necessary marketing collateral like presentations, product slicks and Webex for new products and services across all geographies; Manage and maintain relationships with external marketing and event agencies, Develop and assess efficacy of marketing material with relevant business teams. Prepare annual communication plans aligned with Corporate strategy and identify brand positioning across product portfolio. Deliver the communication strategy including aspects such as key messaging, communication channels and target audience. Develop and repackage the BU/product specific communication to maintain consistency with the overall company. Develop the messaging and media presentation. Develop and deliver a coherent media and analyst relations strategy.

Broad outline of the Role

You will develop and lead the execution regional marketing strategy and implementation to generate revenue and drive conversions while assuring alignment with our customer development strategy.

You will define and implement activities that resonate with the corporate brand and are locally meaningful. You will build top of mind awareness while focussing on lead generation. You will also contribute to the identification of priorities that build a positive impact on the brand by developing and executing marketing campaigns and ensuring alignment with the regional KPIs.

You will serve as the central point of contact for regional marketing and will support your regional business team to customize assets to reflect local market needs and preferences. You have a growth mindset and look to customer-first insights while decision making. You are Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, creative and analytical

Key Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrate and manage the annual, quarterly and monthly planning and implementation of the marketing strategy and programmes.
  • Design and activate a culture of proactive collaboration while expanding regional and global coordination within teams and to maintain a solid repository of all data
  • Serve as a credible and strategic advisor to the Regional Marketing Director, providing reporting on identified operational issues and progress
  • Experience with developing integrated, multi-touch marketing campaigns

Minimum qualification & experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Discipline 
  • 7+ years of experience in the Asia Pacific region with a strong record of managing both brand and communications in a regionally or globally recognised company. (Service Provider, OEM or Agency side) 
  • Experience in working closely with sales organisations and leadership to deliver on aligned KPI’s. 
  • Demonstratable understanding of the unique qualities, cultures and business acumen in Asia Pacific markets. 
  • Fluent in English with a secondary language advantageous
  • Experience managing agency rosters
  • A highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organisational requirements 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills 
  • Experience in managing and measuring the impact of marketing campaigns

  • Stakeholder mapping, crafting analysis builds and working on competitive intelligence to enable monthly and quarterly reviews and plans
  • Research, develop and deploy regional and country demand strategies aligned to growth targets and operational KPI’s.
  • Understand the regional nuances and consumer insights and build a definitive voice on  integral how we position our solutions and customer value proposition to market.
  • Lead key marketing campaigns for demand generation / pipeline acceleration for the region with omni channel activation
  • Build a solid pipeline of marketing activites to generate leads, build demand generation for key priority markets : SG, HK, JP, CN, AU
  • Experience with sales and marketing automation systems ideally salesforce
  • Multi-agency liaison with multi-tasking capabilities to develop compelling content including thought leadership messaging, executive presentations, blogs, social content, for business leaders to help accelerate our right to play and win.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of marketing campaigns from inception to execution aligned with the sales objectives in the region

Technical Competencies

You will have a strong record of Brand Management  experience working within APJC market with a recognised brand, client or agency side. You will have worked closely with sales leadership in addition to regional and/ or global marketing teams. Strong English language skills are critical and the ability to work with virtual teams a must.

You are a well-rounded marketeer that can think strategically, proactively while being aligned with the corporate mandate. You can concurrently build and execute plans for various segments, lines of business and verticals.
